Organs taken from patients that doctors were pressured to declare brain dead, suit charges – NYPOST.com.

This is unfortunately why Catholics are unable to list themselves as Organ Donors.  It is cases like this in which human greed overrules the sanctity of one human life that make what could be a wonderful and beneficial practice an abhorrent killer of men.

My favorite:

“When you aim the SpeechJammer at someone, it records that person’s voice and plays it back to him with a delay of a few hundred milliseconds. This seems to gum up the brain’s cognitive processes — a phenomenon known as delayed auditory feedback — and can painlessly render the person unable to speak. Kazutaka Kurihara, one of the SpeechJammer’s creators, sees it as a tool to prevent loudmouths from overtaking meetings and public forums, and he’d like to miniaturize his invention so that it can be built into cellphones. “It’s different from conventional weapons such as samurai swords,” Kurihara says. “We hope it will build a more peaceful world.” (Catherine Rampell)”

Hahahahaha.. “The Shut Up Gun”…. hahahahahaha

I just might like the future 😉

[Why the] Catholic bishops strike back | Washington Times

Catholic bishops strike back | Washington Times.

“Why go to battle with the Catholic Church? The answer may lie beyond the current fray. So much of what the Catholic Church stands for is antithetical to so many positions of Mr. Obama and his core supporters (think abortion, embryo-destructive research, same-sex marriage). Perhaps, at bottom, this is no more than a power play. Take the Catholic Church down a notch now and make future battles easier later.”

Love this op-ed piece speculating the real reason for the HHS mandate.

Hate the fact that she’s probably right.

Hidden cameras expose privacy problem in a Macy’s fitting rooms | wtsp.com.

“A 10 News undercover investigation revealed customers may be revealing more than expected at Macy’s stores all across the country.  While it’s illegal to secretly videotape inside fitting rooms in Florida, Macy’s manages its loss-prevention by installing their privacy doors backward.

That means that any employee – or customer – standing up against the door can see inside.  But the person getting changed cannot see out.”

What the heck!  This is incredibly unethical, particularly because they weren’t telling the customers that this was the case!  If there were announcements about something like “Macy’s reserves the right to observe it’s customers at all times, including dressing room use”, there would have been an outrage.  Pretty good sign that it’s not acceptable.

My gosh.
