“The Catholic League released a press release criticizing Minaj. “Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of The Recording Academy. Never would they allow an artist to insult Judaism or Islam,” wrote the Catholic League. “It’s bad enough that Catholics have to fight for their rights vis-à-vis a hostile administration in Washington without also having to fend off attacks in the entertainment industry. The net effect, however, will only embolden Catholics, as well as their friends in other faith communities.””
Good answer, Donahue.
What a worthy cause! Support our troops through USO’s virtual valentine program.
““When religious groups are forced to deny their deeply held religious convictions, it is not called ‘balance’; it is called ‘tyranny,’ ” said Penny Nance and Janice Shaw Crouse, leaders of Concerned Women for America, which includes itself as one of the Christian-affiliated employers that don’t want to be forced to provide free abortion-inducing drugs in their health insurance plans.”
My stomach wretches at this. Wretches.
This is so un-constitutional it’s a joke that Obama is still in office. An absolute joke. This is tyranny. This is absolute, pure, tyranny.
If you have connection to any one of these schools, take immediate action. This is a disgrace to the entire Catholic Church.

“Catholic bishops said Friday night that they would not support the Obama administration’s proposed compromise on a controversial rule that requires most employers to fully cover contraception in their workers’ health plans.”
Holy Cow. I think it’s time for the city to step in here …..
“If lightning doesn’t strike twice, Haverhill homeowner Jim Curtis has a hard time believing it. He was sitting at the computer in his Amesbury Street home when an SUV plowed through the front wall landing in the living room. […] [S]]ince his family first owned the house in 1954, it’s happened at least five times. Another car came through the same wall fifteen years ago, and nearly every side of the house has been hit.“
I don’t know how they can sleep at night.
Is this [America’s moral decay] all due to the Pill? Of course not. But the idea that widely-available contraception hasn’t led to dramatic societal change, or that this change has been exclusively to the good, is a much sillier notion than anything the Catholic Church teaches.
What an amazing editorial from non-Catholic. He observes the common trends of morality in America to reveal the stances and responses for family morality that only the Catholic Church is willing to take.
Don’t contracept. It will ruin your marriage.
