BBC News – Austrian driver’s religious headgear strains credulity.

“Mr Alm said the sieve was a requirement of his religion, pastafarianism.”

Apparently headgear is only allowed in drivers’ license photos for ‘confessional reasons’.  What the heck is a confessional reason?

Side note: He’s applying for ‘pastafarianism’ to become a legally recognized religion, as part of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Seriously?
